An expert is required to execute any work to its best extent. Worship of God leading us to the Supreme, is no different. A trained and qualified Purohit, with the knowledge of all the methodologies in worship, forms the basis for a great and healthy society, where dharma is protected.

Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore, is conducting a 6-month Basic Purohit Course, starting on 14 April 2021 - New Year in various parts of the country. The Course is designed so that interested males can get trained to lead society on the path of righteousness. Brahmachari Divya Chaitanya will be the Acharya of the Course, under the guidance of Swami Sharadananda.

This Course will:


1. Train young men to take up Paurohityam as their profession and practice in Chinmaya Mission temples or outside
2. Enable members of Chinmaya Mission to learn the principles and practices of various rituals which will help them in their regular sadhana and also empower them to offer this noble seva in their respective Centres
3. Help Purohits gain more clarity and refresh their knowledge

Members can partake of the blessings of this rich heritage by contributing generously to the Veda Putra Scheme. Sponsorship can be for the training of one or more Purohits, and part sponsorships are also welcome. Details are attached.
