Chinmaya Naada Bindu is a unique project of the Chinmaya Mission to be run under the administration of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust.

Location

It is situated at Chinmaya Vibhooti, Kolwan - a 70-acre spread of picturesque land in the lap of the Sahyadri mountain ranges. Project completion is aimed in the year 2013.

Objective

Chinmaya Naada Bindu will be a residential school for Indian Dance and Music, with the objective of generating thousands of dignified ambassadors of Indian Culture. The main subjects will be vocal music, instrumental music, and all major Indian dance forms. It will also attract world-renowned artistes to teach and perform at the premises. The school will be an ideal place of inspiration for musicians and music lovers to follow in the music traditions and lineage of a guru-shishya parampara.

Culture tones the mental muscles and lends dignity to the personality. However, personality includes not only the physical, the mental and the intellectual, but also the spiritual aspect. This last aspect is usually forgotten, leaving the person thirsting for something that he cannot identify. Chinmaya Naada Bindu will help bridge this gap and bring peace to the thirsting personality.
