| Pranav Ganesh Temple Consecratated |
| On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Jayanti, Pujya Swami Tejomayananda and Pujya Swami Brahmananda performed Kalashabhishekam at the Pranav Gnash Temple at Chinmaya Vibhooti Kolwan (Maharashtra, India). This was part of the 3-day long elaborate Pujas and rituals leading to the consecration (Prana Pratishtha) of the idol. The consecration of the Pranav Gnash idol at the temple was performed under the guidance of Shri Vaze Guruji and his team of twelve priests who performed various ceremonies along with Shri Ravi Nene, CEO, Chinmaya Vibhooti and his wife Nandini Nene who represented Chinmaya Mission at the ceremonies. | Participation in North East Book Fair – Guwahati 2011
Chinmaya Mission Guwahati participated in North East Book Fair 2011, organized at Guwahati from 14th – 26th December’11. It was Chinmaya Mission-Guwahati’s maiden such attempt and quite challenging too. With guidance from CCMT-Publication Division, Guwahati Centre took up the challenge and the achievements were too many. It was a wonderful opportunity to publicise not only the CCMT Publications but Chinmaya Mission and its activities as well. While the sale was good, the enquiries were tremendous and the high demand for CCMT Publications in local language was quite surprising.

| Result of Awakening Indians to India |

Chinmaya Mission and CHYK, Vadodara conducted a quiz on "Awakening Indians to India" on 22nd Jan, 2012, for the first time after eight years of National Quiz on Awakening Indians to India was conducted across the nation.
Over 350 youth had participated in the quiz. The following participants have qualified for the semifinal round of the quiz:

Swami Purushottamananda's Mahasamadhi
One year has passed by since Pujya Swami Purushottamananda shed His mortal coil. It was a painful year, particularly for inmates of Kolhapur ashram.
On 17 th January 2012, special archana was performed in Kolhapur ashram in fond memory of Pujya Swamiji. The day started with Param Pujya Gurudev's Paduka Puja, followed by Rudrabhisheka on Sphatika-Linga given to the ashram by Gurudev as blessings, in Dakshineshwar Kailasnath Temple.
In the morning at 7.00 Pujya Guruji inaugurated the CHINMAYA PURUSHOTTAM SMRITI MANDIR where divine ashes have been placed and an altar is constructed. After initiating the abhisheka on the Padukas there Pujya Guruji gave a brief talk... |

| There was anticipation in the air after the announcement of Pujya Guruji’s Bhakti Sandhya during the Pranav Ganesh Mandir Inauguration Camp. Sudharma auditorium at Chinmaya Vibhooti was abuzz from the moment Guruji began. Guruji first invoked Lord Pranav Ganesha in a prayerful rendition followed by a brand new Devi bhajan, and then a devotional offering to Pujya Gurudev.
Guruji delighted the audience with foot-tapping, heart-warming and immensely moving bhajans. The last recorded bhajan sandhya at Vibhooti was “All-in-One” in December 2008 and the name is perfect for Guruji too, as he has written, composed and sung all the bhajans, setting them to soulful tunes which enthralled one and all. More than 1400 devotees were addressed through lectures in this month.
1) In this month Highlight was Pujya Guruji’s visit to Jaffna on 12th & 13th of December. On 12th morning Pujya Guruji met all the MM group ladies, Sponsored children & their family members (More than 500) from Jaffna & Kilinochi at Nadaraja Parameswary hall, Nallur, Jaffna & this was concluded with Guru Paduka Puja. In the evening Pujya Guruji visited the mission centre and CORD centre.

| Pujya Gurji's visit to Rambodha and Colombo |
| Hanuman Chalisa Spiritual Retreat in Rambodha, Sri Lanka
9th,10th and 11th December 2011 were special days for Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka as it was a Spirtual Retreat on Hanuman Chalisa conducted by Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda – a first retreat by Pujya Guruji in Sri Lanka. And what is more the camp was held in Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Rambodha, Sri Lanka.
The Hanuman Temple was wrapped in moon-light lending a faint whisper of unreality – as the temple and the valley below had been blessed by the touch of God giving the whole a muted and gentle beauty like a painting. Pratima Dharm, a serving woman captain in the American Army, has been named the first-ever Hindu chaplain in the US Defence Department.
Dharm, 40, is the first Indian-American woman to be appointed as US Military's Hindu chaplain.
Coming from a diverse background, she migrated to America just months before the 9/11 attacks. She was born in New Delhi.
