The subject site is a free-standing office building, approximately 6,453 sqft and located on 16,943 sqft of land.
The property is located 10 minutes from Ottawa’s downtown core, and 2 minutes from the popular St. Laurent Shopping Center.
Today marks a major moment for our Chinmaya family as we now have a HOME. Over the past 23 years we have been renting and moving like nomads. At last, a place to settle down has materialized! On June 09 2013, Swami Tejomayananda went to see the site and recommended that this property be our home. On the same day, he signed the agreement of Purchase and Sale document with the agent. After that moment … it is history.

| Flight to Ecstasy |
| Flight to Ecstasy was held on 29th May 2013 from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm at the New Kathiresan hall, Bambalapitiya. Organized by Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development (CORD, Sri Lanka). Hon. Deputy High Commission of India: Mr. P. Kumaran was the chief guest and Mrs. Rana the first secretary for the Canadian High Commission was the guest of honor to grace this event. After the traditional lighting of the lamp Mrs. Gowrie Mahenthiran (Director CORD Sri Lanka) welcomed the guests and briefed on CORD’s mission and thanked the people who gave their support to make this event a success.

| The Road to perfection |
| Pujya Guruji’s yajna at CM Ottawa on “Ramayana: Aim toward Perfection” is what I call a true success.
I was blessed to have Pujya Guruji reside at our home for this past week and it was a beautiful experience. From his gentle smile to his amazing musical abilities to his crystal clear responses to our questions, I am extremely grateful to have received and learnt so much in just one week.
Before the first lecture on Monday evening, Guruji asked us all, “What does perfection mean?” I was dumbfounded that most of us, including myself, could not confidently answer that question. | Sri Dibyasingh Deb, Gajapati Maharaja, Chief Sevak of Lord Sri Jagannath, Puri addressed the vedanta course students and devotees at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Powai, Mumbai on 3rd June, 2013 evening. He explained in depth – the philosophical and historical background of Lord Jagannath at Puri, Odisha.
His simple narration quoting relevant excerpts from Vedas and Skanda Purana with the visual aid of Power Point was appreciated immensely by the students.

| Pujya Guruji's Message on Sad demise of Acharya Krishna Moorthy |

Message from Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda
Hari Om. Just now I heard from Swami Shantananda of our dear and respected Acharya Krishna Moorthyji's passing away. His departure is so sudden that we all are left speechless. He had been a most loyal, devoted, and committed acharya of the Mission who served Pujya Gurudev right from his young age. I knew him when I had just joined Sandeepany in 1970. We had very close and affectionate brotherly relations. Now he has reached the lotus feet of Pujya Gurudev. We all will certainly miss him, but his smile will always stay with us.
I convey my very special condolences to Teresa Hariharan, his sister-in-law.
