| We are happy to inform you that CORD has established its Network in Batticoloa, Ramboda (plantation sector), Jaffna and Kilinochchi. The programs offered iclude:
SOCIAL & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Social and Economic activity which involves self-employment opportunities and livelihood sustainability, namely, home gardening, cash crops, animal husbandry and various other activities at the cottage level.
Some of the activities are put on hold, such as cattle and milk-cow breeding due to limitations of funding and cost factor. Each cow costs around SL Rs. 50,000 to 70,000

| Chinmaya Vrindavan Center hosts an Ashtothara Sata Homa Kunda Srichakra Homam |
| On Sept 29, 2012 Chinmaya Vrindavan Center hosted an Ashtothara Sata Homa Kunda Srichakra Homam in association with Soundarya Lahiri, a non-profit organization promoting Srividya Tradition and Srichakra Worship. The purpose of the homam was to purify the grounds of the ashram for the upcoming construction of a new Radha-Krishna temple and for the many Balavihar activities that will take place here. In order to do this, the fire offering of 108 aromatic herbs, 8 aromatic herbs, and 5 different ghees were flown in from India for this event, and they filled the atmosphere with spiritual vibrations.
The 108 homa kundams covered a chakra calculated on the fly, and lovingly hand-drawn on the ashram’s front lawn. When completed, it covered a 250 foot by 250 square area.... |

| Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations at Vibhooti |
| Ganeshotsav 2012 at Chinmaya Vibhooti
This was the 4th year that the residents of Chinmaya Vibhooti celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on campus. However, this year was special as now there is the Pranav Ganesh Mandir in Vibhooti, which was inaugurated in January this year. The idol for the Utsav was also installed in the same temple for 5 days, from the 19th to 23rd of September.
The Lord was brought to Vibhooti on 19th morning with great fanfare. The group of Yuvaveers added energy to the procession, dancing to the music with great enthusiasm.

After a long seven-year wait, Chinmaya Mission St. Augustine (Florida) was extremely blessed and filled with gratitude to welcome Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda again at the Chinmaya Govardhan ashram, May 20-24, 2012.
Guruji took two informal Q&A satsangs daily, completely satisfying devotees with his extraordinarily insightful yet simple answers to life’s spiritual and practical dilemmas. | 3rd Anniversary Celebrations of Chinmaya Naada Bindu |

On the occasion of completing three years of its existence, Chinmaya Naad Bindu put together an in-house programme on 13th September. Ramaa Bharadvaj, Dance Director, CNB presented a short dance item, ‘Mitranjali’ which was appreciated by all. The unique feature of this item was that Ramaaji explained all her gestures before her actual performance which made it more meaningful and enjoyable.
It was then the turn of the Resident Director, CNB, Pramodini Rao who presented a few bhajans in her melodious voice, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. | Chinmaya Shivam Cultural Evening in South Africa |

More than 650 people gathered at the Kendra Hall on 15 September 2012 for the grand and first ever Chinmaya Shivam Cultural evening. After weeks of meticulous planning under the guidance of Pujya Swami Abhedanandaji, the wet weather could not dampen the high spirits of the devotees. The guest of honor was the Indian Consulate General of India, Mr V.K. Sharma accompanied by his wife.
The evening’s program commenced with invocation prayers and Guru Stotram recited by the children of the Bal-Vihar class. This was followed by beautiful renditions of bhajans by Mr Kiren Ishwarlall. | 150th Birth Year celebration of Swami Vivekananda |

In connection with the 150th Birth Year Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda the Ramakrishna Mission in Delhi hosted a 3-day Inter-faith meet “Awakening Indians “ from 11th to 13th September. H.H. Dalai Lama flagged off the event at the Ramakrishna Mission Auditorium in Delhi. Our former President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was the Chief Guest at this event. The topic for this meeting of luminaries was - World Meet for Peace and Harmony.
Pujya Guruji, Swami Tejomayananda was chairperson of the 1st Session, on Peace and Harmony – The religious Perspective. The four panelists, including himself, each represented different religious faiths – Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism.

| CIRS - Ranked No.1 in Tamil Nadu! |
| Hari Om! Greetings from Vadodara!
I am very happy to share with you all that following a recent survey conducted by Education World (a reputed national magazine that provides education news and coverage from all parts of the country), our Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS) at Coimbatore has been placed as No. 1 amongst all boarding schools in the state of Tamil Nadu, and No. 9 amongst all boarding schools across India. This is a heartwarming and most wonderful achievement.
It is a significant accomplishment as last year CIRS ranked No.18 amongst boarding schools across India and now we are in the Top 10! In Tamil Nadu we were No. 5.

| Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda's Yajna at Bhavnagar |
| Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda conducted Jnana Yajna of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17, Shraddha Traya Vibhaga Yoga at Bhavnagar, Gujarat from 5th to 9th September, 2012.
Br. Samaatma Chaitanya, Acharya of Bhavnagar says "More than 1000 people bathed in witty Vedantic wisdom for 5 days. During Guruji's's talk, time as though flew by everyday as everybody was been immersed by Pujya Guruji's captivating voice."
Mother nature too welcomed Pujya Guruji's Jnana Yajna by keeping monsoon downpours on pause. At the endof the yajna Guruji said, There is blessings of Pujya Gurudev and God, as rains also came after proper thinking - there was clear sky during evening and morning talks."
