In the wake of the recent Tsunami tragedy you all have been generously donating for the relief work. Thank you all very much for the same.

A question that is frequently asked is what Chinmaya Mission is going to do on long-term basis like adopting villages, etc. I would like to make it very clear that whatever funds we receive that will be directly used in giving relief or some time bound help that our local centres deem fit and are capable of executing. To make big commitments is very difficult due to lack of manpower, money and expertise.

Moreover, our mission has got its own permanent objectives, activities and projects, which also need to be fulfilled.
