Brahmacharini Poorvi Chaitanya graduating in Science discipline has served as a software programmer in a multinational company. Her association with Chinmaya Mission began as an active Chinmaya Yuva Kendra member. Under the guidance of Swami Chidatmananda, inspired by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and an inner urge for more knowledge led her to Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Mumbai for a two year residential Vedanta Course. At the end of the course, current Head of Chinmaya Mission, Pujya Swami Tejomayananda, initiated her into her current role as as Full time Acharya for the Mission. She is full of friendliness, enthusiasm and is very close to the hearts of children and youth. She has conducted number of camps for children and youth. She has also delivered number of lectures in different schools and colleges, conducted seminars, workshops, symposiums and counselled individuals on psychological problems. She has toured number of places across the country. She has addressed students of all age groups on different topics. She has delivered quite a few management lectures for different sections of people including teachers, doctors and professionals. Currently she also gives talks on a radio channel “Radio Vishnu 90.4”.
