About the Temple

This murti is installed at the entrance of Chinmaya Gardens, Siruvani, Coimbatore. Prathista for this murti was done by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda in December 1986. Later a proper temple was built for Lord Vinayaka and Swamini Vimalananda did the sthana prathista of the murti on Vijayadashami day in 2005. Arati is performed daily in the evenings and the local villagers, college students and residents of the ashram participate in this. Every Thursday Abhisekham is done.
