Genesis

The genesis of Chinmaya Gurugram began nearly two decades ago under the loving guidance of Swami Durgeshananda ji. In those early days, the Mission grew through the quiet devotion of families who opened their homes for yajnas, study classes, and satsangs—transforming simple living rooms into spaces of learning and prayer. What we now celebrate as a vibrant spiritual center was once a humble dream nurtured by faith and seva.


A major turning point came in 2019 with the acquisition of the present land, allowing the vision of a permanent center to take shape. Through the dedication of sevaks and the generosity of devotees, the dream became reality. Today, a vibrant center stands in Gurugram, welcoming seekers of all ages to learn and live Gurudev’s timeless teachings.

Chinmaya Gurudham, inaugurated on 12th October 2022 on VijayDashmi by Respected Pujya Swami Swaroopananda, is a vibrant spiritual and cultural centre of Chinmaya Mission in Gurugram. Guided by Swami Avyayananda, it offers a wide range of activities for all ages—Jnana Yajna, Satsanga, Bala Vihar, Gita chanting, Study groups, Pujas, and Festival celebrations.

Gurudham Center stands as a sanctuary of wisdom, peace, and inner growth for the community. The Gurugram Chinmaya Community is warm and supportive, always there for one another—truly a home away from home for Mission family members.

Chinmaya Gurudham, Gurugram is part of the broader network of Chinmaya Mission centers across the National Capital Region, including Lodhi Road & Chittaranjan Park at New Delhi and Noida. Together, we strive to create a community where individuals can explore their spiritual potential and contribute positively to society. Join us on this transformative journey!

Sudharma The Auditorium

Inaugurated in 2022, Chinmaya Gurudham is a serene, well-designed spiritual center that welcomes all seeking learning, reflection, and community.

Our fully air-conditioned auditorium seats 141 guests and is equipped with a BOSE sound system, advanced lighting, projector screens, multiple microphones, and PTZ cameras for live streaming. It is a comfortable and versatile space for cultural programs, satsangs, prayer meetings, and community gatherings. Over the years, we have hosted many spiritual and cultural events here, and photos of these programs can also be added.

Spread across 28,000 sq. ft. over five floors, the center includes three additional halls (60+, 150+, and 160+ capacity), a conference room, and parking for over 40 cars, offering flexible options for gatherings of all sizes.
