1. Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, online services, digital content, donation facilities, and event registration services made available through the Chinmaya Mission Global Website (the "Website"). The Website is owned and operated by Central Chinmaya Mission Trust ("CCMT", "we", "us", or "our"), a Public Charitable Trust registered in India, with its principal office at: Central Chinmaya Mission Trust Sandeepany Sadhanlaya, Saki Vihar Road, Powai Mumbai – 400072, Maharashtra, India By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website immediately.


2. What We Offer
Through this Website, CCMT makes available the following: • Spiritual and educational content — lectures, discourses, articles, audio, and video in digital form • Event registrations — online registration for spiritual programmes, camps, retreats, and related events organised by CCMT • Donations — voluntary contributions in support of CCMT's charitable and spiritual mission • General information about Chinmaya Mission, its centres, and its activities

CCMT does not sell physical books or merchandise through this Website. All transactions on this Website are for digital content, event registrations, or donations only.


3. Use of the Website
You may access and use the Website for lawful, personal, informational, devotional, and educational purposes only. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Website only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, particularly where payments or registrations are involved.

You agree not to: • use the Website in violation of any applicable law or regulation • attempt unauthorised access to any system, server, network, or account connected with the Website • interfere with or disrupt the Website's security, functionality, or operation • upload, transmit, or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code • use the Website for fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful activities • use automated tools to scrape, extract, or collect data from the Website without CCMT's prior written consent


4. Accounts and Registrations
Certain features — including event registrations — may require you to create an account. You agree to: • provide accurate, complete, and current information • keep your account credentials confidential • accept responsibility for all activity conducted through your account

Please notify CCMT immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach. CCMT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are misused or used in violation of these Terms.


5. Event Registrations and Payments
CCMT offers online registration for spiritual programmes, courses, camps, retreats, and related events. By completing a registration and making payment, you authorise CCMT and its payment service providers to process the applicable fee.

Fees and taxes: The applicable registration fees and currency will be displayed in the registration form at the time of registration. CCMT is registered under the Goods and Services Tax Act. As CCMT is a charitable organisation registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and its core object is the propagation and dissemination of spirituality, the fees collected for participation in such spiritual programmes/events are exempt from GST under the applicable provisions and notifications issued under the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Accordingly, GST shall not be applicable on such registration fees where the relevant exemption conditions are satisfied.

Payment processing: Payments are processed through authorised payment aggregators regulated by the Reserve Bank of India, operating across separate payment gateways as appropriate. All payment processing is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). CCMT does not store, retain, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or net banking credentials. Such information is handled exclusively and securely by the payment aggregator.

No refunds or cancellations: Registration fees once paid shall be non-refundable and non-transferable, except where specifically permitted by CCMT at its sole discretion or as required under applicable laws. A registration confirmation will be sent to your registered email address upon successful payment. No physical ticket or document will be dispatched.


6. Donations
CCMT accepts voluntary donations in support of its charitable, spiritual, and educational mission. By making a donation through this Website, you confirm that the contribution is made freely and voluntarily.

Donations: Donations are voluntary contributions and do not constitute a taxable supply of goods or services under the Goods and Services Tax Act. No GST is charged on donations.

Payment processing: Donation payments are processed through authorised, RBI-regulated payment aggregators via a dedicated payment gateway. All transactions are PCI-DSS compliant. CCMT does not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials.

Non-refundable nature of donations: Donations are generally non-refundable. A refund will only be considered in the case of a proven duplicate transaction or an erroneous payment. To request such a refund, please contact CCMT at ccmt@chinmayamission.com within 15 days of the transaction date. CCMT's decision in such matters is final.

Tax exemption — 80G: Donations to CCMT may be eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. To receive your 80G tax exemption certificate, you are required to provide your full name, address, and PAN number at the time of donation. This information is collected solely for the purpose of issuing the certificate and for statutory reporting. CCMT will not share your PAN or personal details with any third party except as required by applicable law.

Note on GST exemption for event registrations: CCMT's tax adviser (Debasish ji) has confirmed that the applicable exemption applies to CCMT's programmes. Legal team to confirm and insert the precise exemption notification reference before publication.


7. Digital Content
Where the Website provides access to digital content — including lectures, discourses, videos, audio recordings, or downloadable materials — such access is provided for personal, non-commercial, devotional, and educational use only. Digital content, once accessed or downloaded, is non-refundable. Pricing, where applicable, will be displayed at the point of access. Applicable GST at the rate displayed at checkout will apply to paid digital content.


8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including text, lectures, discourses, publications, images, audio, video, graphics, logos, software, and design elements ("Content") — is owned by or licensed to CCMT and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. CCMT grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Website solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not: • reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, display, perform, or commercially exploit any Content • create derivative works from the Content • remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by CCMT.
