Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations at CCWU

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at CCWU with devotion, melodious bhajans, naam-sankeertan and a wonderful sense of togetherness. The packed auditorium resonated with joy as devotees of all ages gathered to celebrate the birth of Bhagavan Shri Krishna, while little children dressed as Krishna and Radha Rani added a special charm to the occasion.

The celebration began with naam-sankeertan led by Swami Prakarshanandaji, followed by soulful bhajans by Sunilji. The festivities continued with the Krishna Janmashtami Puja before culminating in a beautiful narration and dramatisation of Bhagavan Krishna’s birth by Swami Prakarshanandaji, highlighting the deeper spiritual significance of welcoming Bhagavan into our hearts.

The evening was a heartwarming celebration of devotion, joy and the Chinmaya family spirit.

Hare Krishna! Jai Shri Krishna!
