
Celebrating the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, Chinmaya Seva Centre, Singapore, hosted a Maha Hanuman Utsav from 14-19 April at PGP Hall, drawing a large gathering of devotees for a week of spiritual reflection, discourse and collective prayer.
The highlight of the Utsav was a series of insightful talks by Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, on the theme “Leap to Liberty – The Hanuman Way.” Held each evening, the sessions explored the timeless values of devotion, strength, humility, and unwavering focus, as exemplified by Lord Hanuman, offering practical guidance for modern life.
The auditorium witnessed strong participation throughout the week, with attendees engaging deeply in the discourses. The atmosphere was marked by attentive listening and moments of quiet contemplation, reflecting the impact of the teachings.
The Utsav culminated on 19 April with a spiritually charged morning featuring a Hanuman Chalisa Havan and Gita Chanting. Devotees came together in large numbers, offering prayers and chanting in unison, creating an environment of devotion and sacred energy.
The event stood as a testament to the vibrant spiritual community in Singapore, bringing together individuals and families in the shared pursuit of inner growth and devotion.
