As part of Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav celebrations marking 75 glorious years of Chinmaya Movement, devotees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, were blessed to host Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, for a deeply inspiring discourse series on “The Secrets of Hanuman Chalisa”.
Held from 21–24 April 2026 at Raj Baghri Hall, Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Kuala Lumpur, the free public talks drew hundreds of devotees eager to immerse themselves in the devotion, wisdom and transformative message of the Hanuman Chalisa.
Through his profound talks, Swami Swaroopananda beautifully unfolded the deeper spiritual significance hidden within the verses of the Hanuman Chalisa. He explained the various steps of worship including naman (bowing down in surrender of the ego), smaran (remembrance of the Lord) and kirtan (singing the Lord’s glories), guiding devotees toward a more meaningful and heartfelt spiritual practice. He also elaborated on the many names of Shri Hanuman, revealing their inner significance and timeless relevance in daily life.
The celebrations culminated in a grand Samashti Hanuman Chalisa Havan where hundreds of devotees participated with deep devotion, offering sacred oblations into the holy fire amidst the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa.
During Swami Swaroopananda's visit he also gave brahmacharya deeksha to Brahmacharini Meenal, after which her name is now Brahmacharini Meera Chaitanya.
The visit marked yet another memorable offering in the ongoing global celebrations of Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav.
