
As part of the year-long Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav celebrations commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Chinmaya Movement, Chinmaya Mission Tenali, in Andhra Pradesh, welcomed the sacred Padukas of Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda during the Chinmaya Amrita Yatra on 6 and 7 June 2026.
The Padukas were received by Shri Kotha Subrahmanya Garu and family, in presence of the members of Chinmaya Mission Tenali, Bala Vihar students,
Kumar Pumps staff and members of various cultural activity teams.
The celebrations at Padmavathi Function Hall in Tenali, featured a grand welcome procession, bike rally, Kolatam performance, Kuchipudi dance presentation, Gita Panchamrit chanting by Devi group members and Bala Vihar students, among several devotional cultural activities. The gathering was blessed by the presence of revered spiritual leaders including Swamini Nirmalananda, Swami Turiyananda, Swami Suveerananda, and Brahmacharini Taarini Chaitanya who were felicitated during the programme and who shared inspiring spiritual messages with the devotees.
The two-day Yata covered Tenali and Narakodur, with a series of spiritual and cultural programmes organised to mark this divine occasion. At Narakodur, the sacred Padukas were received by Shri Kotha Krishna Kumar, Sri Kotha Hari Kumar, and members of Kumar Pumps staff. A special Paduka Puja was performed with great devotion by the assembled devotees.
More than 800 devotees participated across both locations, making the Chinmaya Amrita Yatra a memorable spiritual celebration filled with devotion and cultural expression.
