Chinmaya Mission Seattle found a home with the inauguration of Chinmaya Dwaraka, the Mission’s new spiritual centre in Lynnwood, Washington.

More than the opening of a building, the inauguration marked the beginning of a new chapter for Chinmaya Mission Seattle. For years, the Chinmaya Mission Seattle community gathered in classrooms, community halls and other shared spaces for spiritual learning, prayer, celebrations and service. Chinmaya Dwaraka now stands as a dedicated spiritual home, bringing the community together for knowledge, devotion and seva.

An auspicious sthapana (consecration) of Yogeshwara Shri Krishna marked the sacred beginning, followed by formal inauguration of the centre by Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission.

The centre will serve as a space where children can learn timeless values, families can come together, and seekers can deepen their understanding of Vedanta.
