The Tapovan Hall (Satsang Hall) was one of the first buildings at Sidhbari and was the location for most lectures and activities at the Ashram. Now, it is sequestered for lectures for students in the two-year Hindi Vedanta course.

Comfortable Residential Facilities

Comfortable residential cottages and dormitories are scattered across the complex. Most have views to the mountains and are within easy reach of the Shri Ram Temple, Hanumanji and Gurudev’s Samadhi Sthala.

Dining together with prayer

The original dining hall where Swami Chinmayananda shared meals with devotees and students is still in use. The tradition of chanting Chapter 15 of Bhagavad Geeta at the commencement of meals is maintained today.

Healthy and sattvic meals

Nutritious vegetarian meals are served daily and seva(serving) in the dining hall is a joyous opportunity to share. Camps also feature traditional biksha (communal open-air dining) on festival days and special occasions.

Chinmaya Vaani bookshop, near the Shri Rama temple, enables campers, pilgrims and visitors to browse the range of Chinmaya Mission publications and purchase books, CDs, DVDs and pen drives of bhajans and talks
