The Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK) All-Karnataka Residential Youth Camp, held from 3 April to 5 April 2026 at Chinmaya Sandeepany, Chokkahalli, Kolar, was a deeply enriching and transformative experience. Centered on the theme of Bhakti (devotion), the camp brought together youth in a serene and disciplined environment, providing an ideal space for reflection, learning and meaningful interaction.
The spiritual core of the camp was shaped by sessions conducted by Swami Gahanananda and Swami Dattapadananda. The chanting sessions, led by Swami Dattapadananda, focused on Shishyanushasanam from the Taittiriya Upanishad, and Mukundamala. Swami Gahanananda’s sessions on the Bhagavad Gita, Narada Bhakti Sutra and Adhyatma Ramayana explored the theme of Bhakti, explaining how devotion can guide one’s thoughts, actions and purpose in life.
The camp also featured a series of interactive workshops designed to reinforce these learnings in engaging ways on common Bhakti themes, life lessons from the movie Kung Fu Panda, drawing parallels with self-discovery and inner strength, and a workshop focused on scenarios from the Ramayana, prompting participants to reflect on dharma and decision-making in challenging situations.
The camp was attended by 60 youth from all over Karnataka.
