As part of the Chinmaya Amrit Yatra’s Uttar Pradesh leg, Swami Mitrananda and members of the Chinmaya Amrit Yatra team had the opportunity to meet Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, at the CMO in Lucknow.

During the meeting, Swami Mitrananda shared the vision and purpose of the Chinmaya Amrit Yatra and its ongoing journey across Bharat. Undertaken as part of the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, the Yatra commemorates 75 years of the Chinmaya Movement and carries forward the legacy and vision of Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda.

The discussion highlighted the Yatra’s efforts to bring the timeless wisdom of Vedanta to people across the country through spiritual gatherings, educational interactions, youth engagement, and community programmes. The Yatra seeks to inspire individuals, particularly the younger generation, towards purposeful living, inner growth, and spiritual awakening.

The meeting was a meaningful moment in the Yatra’s journey through Uttar Pradesh, reflecting the growing reach of the Chinmaya vision and the continuing relevance of Vedantic wisdom in contemporary Bharat.

The 295-day Chinmaya Amrit Yatra, which began at Chinmaya Vibhooti, Kolwan, on 31 December 2025, is travelling across the country and will culminate at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 23 October 2026.
