The newly appointed Ambassador of India in Stockholm, Sweden, Shri Anurag Bhushan, recently inaugurated Chinmaya Mission’s Centre in the European city on 6 August 2025. The opening took place in the presence of Shri Rakesh Kumar Tiwari (First Secretary to Ambassador), Shri Amit Jindal (President of Hindu Mandir, Sweden), Shri S.L. Shivashankar (Swedish Vedantic scholar), Shri Gautam Bhattacharya (President of Chinmaya Mission Sweden) and Brahmachari Somesh Chaitanya (resident teacher of Chinmaya Mission Sweden).

With the Centre now having an official location, which is near the Hindu Mandir of Sweden, many activities and programmes for all ages are being planned, guided by Brahmachari Somesh Chaitanya.
