As part of the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating 75 years of the Chinmaya Movement, a Gita Mela was held from 16–18 January 2026 at Chinmaya Maauli Ashram, Lohagaon, Pune.

Organised by Chinmaya Mission Pune, the event offered a unique opportunity to experience the Bhagavad Gita in a dynamic and interactive manner. The Gita Mela featured eighteen interactive stalls, one for each chapter of the Gita, with activities designed to convey the essence of its teachings. The event also included mass chanting of Chapter 15, Purshottam Yoga.

Attended by over 2,500 participants, the beautifully arranged and engaging Gita Mela was a joyful experience for both children and adults alike.
