Chinmaya Mission Northwest Indiana came together on 20 September 2026, for a Hanuman Chalisa Havan, as part of the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav celebrations commemorating 75 years of the Chinmaya Movement.

Held in Merrillville, Indiana, the sacred gathering brought devotees together in collective chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa and offerings into the sacred fire. 

Various games, activity areas and stalls added to the festive atmosphere, giving families and children the opportunity to participate, connect and enjoy the celebrations together. The lively community spirit complemented the devotional programme, creating a memorable occasion for everyone who attended.

The event created an atmosphere of devotion and unity as participants joined together in this powerful spiritual practice.
