In a spiritually uplifting morning of collective prayer, Chinmaya Vibhooti Vision Centre at Kolwan, near Pune, hosted a grand Samashti Hanuman Chalisa chanting event on Saturday 4 April 2026, as part of the ongoing Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, marking 75 years of the Chinmaya Movement.

More than 1,200 devotees from villages across Mulshi Taluka gathered at Chinmaya Vibhooti's Sundaraangan for the programme. The highlights were the 11 high-energy renditions of the Hanuman Chalisa, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

The Hanuman Chalisas were offered by groups from around Mulshi and Pune region, each bringing their unique devotional touch including students of Zilla Parishad Primary School (Walen), students of New English School (Kolwan), Sugam Sarita (Nigdi), Shri Bhagwat Ashram Mutt (Tikona Peth) and Gurukrupa Gurukul (Kolwan).

The Chalisas were seamlessly strung together by the talented singers and instrumentalists of Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula, whose musical interludes elevated the spiritual atmosphere throughout the morning.

The programme was graced by distinguished chief guests; Swami Advaitananda of Chinmaya Mission Nashik, Kirtankar Shri Omkar Maharaj Dude and Shri Deepak Pandey, IPS, Additional Director General of Maharashtra Police. Each shared their reflections on the spiritual significance of the Hanuman Chalisa with those gathered. The chief guests were warmly felicitated, as were the Sarpanches and Police Patils of Mulshi Taluka.

Members of Chinmaya Yuva Kendra Kolwan and Chinmaya Mission Pune served as volunteers for the event, as did many of the campers attending Swami Advaitananda's weekend camp in Marathi on Hanuman Chalisa.

Following the event, all attendees were served lunch prasad and had the blessed opportunity of darshan of Shri Chinmaya Maruti.

The event reaffirmed Chinmaya Mission's commitment to serving the communities of Mulshi Taluka and beyond: "Our work now continues to do more for the children and youth of Kolwan and surrounding areas, through the values and vision of Chinmaya Mission."
