Chinmaya Mission Madurai successfully organised a five-day Spiritual Camp at Chinmaya Tapovanam, Uttarkashi, from 27 April to 1 May 2026. The camp was attended by 75 participants, who experienced an inspiring blend of scriptural study, spiritual reflection and pilgrimage in the sacred Himalayas.

The camp was conducted by Swami Chidrupananda and Swami Sivayogananda. The study sessions focused on the Essence of Yoga Vasishtha and Panchadashi Chapter 3, providing participants with profound insights into Vedantic philosophy and spiritual living.

Apart from the daily discourses, meditation, bhajans and satsangs, the camp featured spiritually enriching visits to several sacred pilgrimage centres in the Himalayas. Participants undertook trips to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, Gangotri and Yamunotri. These visits enabled the participants to experience the spiritual heritage, natural beauty and sacred atmosphere of the Himalayan region firsthand.

The camp offered a unique opportunity for seekers to deepen their understanding of Vedanta while immersing themselves in the tranquil environment of the Himalayas. Participants greatly appreciated the enlightening discourses, the holy pilgrimages and the fellowship of like-minded devotees, making the camp a memorable and transformative spiritual experience.
