The Jnana Yajna led by Swamini Vimalananda, Senior Acharya from Coimbatore, from 30th March to 4th April 2026, was a deeply uplifting and enriching spiritual experience. It was truly our great fortune to have Swaminiji at Chinmaya Gurudham for the fourth consecutive year, continuing to guide seekers with her clarity, warmth, and depth of knowledge.

Each morning session, centered on the theme “Mind Matters” based on the Shiv Sankalpa Sukta, unfolded the importance of mastering and refining the mind. Through simple yet powerful discourses, Swaminiji emphasized the need to make pure and elevated sankalpas—consciously choosing thoughts that bring peace, positivity, and sattvik living into our lives. The sacred prayer “Tanme Manah Shiva Sankalpam Astu” became a guiding light, reminding everyone to nurture an auspicious and disciplined mind.

In the evening sessions, the focus shifted to Shades of Faith by Chapter 17 of the Bhagavad Gita, where the nature of faith (shraddha) and its threefold expressions were beautifully explained. Seekers gained a deeper understanding of how their inner beliefs shape their actions, habits, and spiritual growth. The teachings inspired a gradual shift toward sattvic living—purity in thought, word, and action.

Devotees thronged in large numbers, many even choosing to stay nearby so they could attend both morning and evening sessions regularly. It was heartening to see several people visiting the Mission for the very first time, drawn by the wisdom of the teachings and the serene atmosphere.

A special highlight of the yajna was on 2nd April, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. A vibrant and devotional performance by the Bajarani Band—our very own JCHYK members and Balvihar children—added great joy and energy to the celebrations, just before the Amma Yajna. Their enthusiasm and devotion created a beautiful connection between the younger generation and the spiritual tradition.

The entire yajna atmosphere was filled with devotion, introspection, and quiet joy. Bhajans, satsang, and moments of reflection created a sacred space for inner transformation. Participants felt a deeper connection to the teachings and experienced renewed clarity on their spiritual journey.

Swaminiji also shared a simple yet powerful sadhana—to end the day by imagining that one is gently placing their head at the feet of the Lord before going to sleep. This practice brought a sense of surrender, peace, and gratitude.

This yajna stood as a gentle reminder that by refining the mind, nurturing the right faith, and holding on to noble thoughts, one can steadily walk the path toward inner harmony and the ultimate truth.
