
On 19 May, Chinmaya Amrit Yatra was warmly welcomed at Chinmayaranyam, Ellayapalle, with a traditional Poorna Kumbha reception led by Swamini Seelananda with Swamini Saradapriyananda, Shri K. Narayana Reddy Garu, Smt. Bharati and the devotees of the Ashram. Gurudev's Murti and Padukas were reverentially placed at Chinmaya Sadan, where children, Ashram residents, and devotees gathered to offer their respects and receive darshan of the Chinmaya Vahini.
In the evening, a Shobha Yatra commenced from Chinmayaranyam Ashram and proceeded through Ellayapalle village to Chinmaya Hari Hara Vidyalaya. Upon arrival, the procession was received with Poorna Kumbha honours by the Vidyalaya staff. Swamini Seelananda performed the sacred Paduka Puja with deep devotion, followed by Vedic chanting rendered by the Ashram children. A graceful dance presentation on the song “Gurudev Tava Mahaneeya Kripa…” was performed by Vidyalaya alumna Kum. M. Sasikala. Gita Panchamrit chanting was led by Swamini Shreyananda. Devotees also watched inspiring video presentations on Gurudev, including Karana Purushudu, Chinmaya Sarani, and Chinmaya Govindam, produced by Chinmayaranyam, and special videos shared by the Chinmaya Amrit Yatra team. These presentations offered profound insights into Gurudev's life, teachings, and enduring legacy.
The programme was compered by Shri A. Ramanaiah Garu. Swami Anukoolananda, Swami Suveerananda, and Swamini Seelananda addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the Yatra. The chief guest, Shri Y. Raghavulu Garu, Member of the All-India Central Executive Committee of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, shared profound reflections and personal experiences of Gurudev, captivating the audience.
The event also included the felicitation of dignitaries and Yatris, followed by heartfelt sharing of experiences by the Yatris. The programme concluded with the chanting of the Chinmaya Mangalashtakam, followed by Annaprasadam for all devotees.
