In a special meeting on 19 March 2026, Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, extended a heartfelt invitation to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to inaugurate the grand culmination of the 75-year celebrations of the Chinmaya Movement at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. 

To be held from 23–25 October 2025, the Global Sammelan will bring together the worldwide Chinmaya family in a spirit of gratitude and devotion. Appreciating the invitation to the event, PM Modi fondly recalled his meeting with Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda in Vadodara, Gujarat, in the early 1990s.

Accompanied by Swami Mitrananda, Swami Swaroopananda shared key global initiatives of the 75-year celebrations, including the Gita Panchamrit, Global Samashti Gita Chanting, Samashti Hanuman Chalisa Havans, the Chinmaya Amrit Yatra across Bharat, outreach in 75 locations across Europe, the Thames Ganga Aarti in the UK, the Australian and US tours and other important programmes.
On the auspicious Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navaratri, Swami Swaroopananda also presented the Hon’ble Prime Minister with a special collection of Chinmaya Publications and the new Hindi Gita Musical Album composed by Maestro Ilayaraaja.

It was truly a moment marked by reverence, warmth and a shared legacy that continues to inspire generations.
