Bala Vihar began with Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s vision to empower children and build an inspired future — “Mold the child, mold the future.” Guruji Swami Tejomayananda beautifully expressed its purpose: “To help children learn values with fun, to delight like the moon and shine like the sun.”

Bala Vihar nurtures children with India’s spiritual heritage and timeless values..

Guided by our scriptures, the program strengthens cultural and spiritual values through stories, games, arts, and creative activities.

Learning, Values & Cultural Connection

Children from Pre-K to Grade 12 explore timeless wisdom through engaging learning experiences. They learn stories from the Ramayana and Bhagavatam, understand Hindu symbolism, and imbibe values from the Bhagavad Gita, gaining a deeper appreciation of Hindu culture and Sanatana Dharma.

Classes include shloka chanting, bhajans, value-based stories, games, art, and craft, creating a joyful and meaningful learning environment.

Children also discover the spiritual significance of festivals such as Shivratri, Rama Navami, Janmashtami, Dussehra, Diwali, Pongal, and Holi, helping them build a lasting connection with the Divine.
