Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula (CNBG) of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth conducted a 2-day CSR (Chinmaya Social Responsibility) Music Intensive Workshop at Chinmaya Gardens, Coimbatore on 6 July and 7 July 2026.

Bringing online learning into an immersive offline environment, 15 select students from Tamil Nadu participated in intensive Vocal and Tabla training. This workshop was part of an ongoing initiative dedicated to nurturing young talent, where participating students continue their long-term classical music education under the project’s sponsorship.

Set against the serene backdrop of the Ashram, the workshop uniquely integrated creative teaching techniques, temple seva and rhythmic collaboration between vocalists and percussionists. The workshop commenced with blessings from Swamini Sampratishthananda and concluded with inspiring insights on the importance of Kalas (art forms) by Swamini Vimalananda.

The faculty members - Smt Poornima Krishnamurthy, Smt Vijaya Venkateswaran, Smt Usha Sundaresan, and Shri Dipin Das, along with the Chinmaya Gardens team, were appreciated for their dedicated service in nurturing young lives through Indian classical music.
