Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF) has taken a remarkable step towards enhancing public utility facilities with the inauguration of the “Take A Break” Project – a modern comfort station constructed at Peppathy for the Edakkattuvayal Grama Panchayat. The building was constructed by CIF and handed over to the Edakkattuvayal Grama Panchayat as part of CIF’s continued commitment to community service and welfare.
The facility was inaugurated on 27 August 2025 by Swami Viviktananda, Regional Head of Chinmaya Mission, Kerala. The ceremony was graced by Adv. Anoop Jacob, MLA (Piravom Constituency) as Chief Guest, along with Shri K.R. Jayakumar (President, Edakkattuvayal Grama Panchayat), Shri M. Ashish (Ward Member), Shri Rajesh V. Patel (Chief Sevak, CIF) and other distinguished officials.
The foundation stone for this project was laid on 21 October 2024, by Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission.
