The Psychology Department of Vivekanand Educational Society of Arts, Science and Commerce, organised a Town Hall interaction titled Living with Clarity and Confidence, featuring Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, in conversation with Asira Chirmuley. 

The session addressed the challenges faced by today’s youth in making choices and developing clarity amidst academic and social pressures.

Swami Swaroopananda emphasised that clarity of thought is the foundation of confident living. He spoke on decision making, self awareness and the impact of external influences on young minds. A key highlight was his practical guidance on self audit, explained as “rewinding the day” or taking a selfie with the mind. This process involves detecting unhelpful thoughts, negating those that are incorrect and consciously substituting them with constructive responses.

The interactive format encouraged open student participation, making the session engaging and relatable. The event concluded with a renewed sense of reflection and purpose among participants.

Chinmaya Mission expressed its appreciation to the Vivekanand Educational Society management and the Psychology Department for the invitation and meaningful collaboration in creating a platform that supports the mental well-being and holistic development of students.
