
Marking a beautiful expression of 75 years of the Chinmaya Movement, the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated with deep devotion, unity, and a vibrant collective spirit in Auckland, New Zealand.
A spiritually elevating 108 Hanuman Chalisa Havan on 28 March 2026, held in the divine presence of Swami Swaroopananda, was a living reflection of Swami Chinmayananda’s vision in action.
The grand gathering brought together over 1,000 participants for a Samashti Hanuman Chalisa Havan across 108 kunds, creating a powerful atmosphere of prayer and oneness.
Addressing the gathering, Swami Swaroopananda noted that in today’s world, often marked by conflict and unrest, coming together to chant powerful mantras is a blessing. He emphasised the continued relevance of spiritual practices in fostering inner peace, resilience, and harmony amidst global challenges.
The celebrations continued with a soulful concert by Amrita Kaur, in the presence of Hon. Erica Stanford, Minister of Education and Immigration, along with a vibrant gathering of the community.
The event stood as a powerful testament to collective devotion and the timeless relevance of spiritual practices in today’s world.
