On the blessed morning of 28 June 2025, Chinmaya Vibhooti came alive with devotion and joy as hearts from across the world gathered in a magnificent outpouring of love to celebrate 75 glorious years of Pujya Swami Tejomayananda, fondly known as Guruji. The three-day celebration, titled Jeevan Hai Sangeet, was envisioned by Swami Swaroopananda, Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, and unfolded amidst gentle rains and vibrant greenery, as if nature itself joined in the homage.
Devotees arrived in reverence and gratitude, their presence reflecting the immeasurable love Guruji has shared with the world. In the inaugural session, Guruji, in his characteristic humility, acknowledged the affection showered upon him and urged everyone to share that love with one another, echoing the Chinmaya Mission pledge, “We stand as one family.” He reminded all that Self-Knowledge is the highest wealth, to be realised through Bhakti, and offered heartfelt gratitude to “2G”, God and Guru, whose glories must be sung with devotion.
The celebration began with Avatarana, a powerful story-theatre presentation by Ramaa Bharadvaj, which explored the divine origins of art. Her captivating performance was followed by a soulful flute recital by Himanshu Nanda, whose music was a gentle, moving tribute to Guruji and left many in silent awe.
Day two was rich with musical and cultural offerings. Melodious tributes by Kalyani Joshi, Kalpana Umashankar, and Rageshri Vairagkar filled the air with devotion. Children from Delhi, guided by Nidhesh Gupta, and sevaks from various Chinmaya centres expressed their love through skits, dances, and bhajans. A Sanskrit composition by Vedanta Course student Rutvik Koshti, along with Vedic chanting by students from Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, deepened the spiritual atmosphere. Vocal offerings by Aparna Devi and others added further grace to the evening.
The highlight of the night was an extraordinary violin recital by Vidushi Kala Ramnath, accompanied by Pt. Abhijit Banerjee on tabla, which left the audience spellbound and uplifted.
On 30 June, the final day, the Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula Team presented another captivating musical offering, drawing the three-day celebration to a close with joy, devotion, and artistic beauty. Every song, chant, and performance felt like a garland of love, offered at the feet of Guruji in gratitude for a life that continues to inspire countless hearts.
