We invite our entire community to build our home. CMNY is the New York Chapter of the Chinmaya Mission, serving New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Wappinger Falls. We are a community of over 2,000 members with programs for all ages including children, youth, adults and seniors. Now, more than ever, we seek your support.
Supporting Chinmaya Upavan will contribute significantly in creating a safe and secure space to ensure the preservation and teaching of Hindu Scriptures thereby benefiting all members of our community at large. Our Rishis did so much just to keep our scriptures intact and it is our dharma, to pass these teachings on to the next generation. Together, we can make this happen.
Construction of Upavan is nearing completion and we look forward to inaugurating it in the auspicious presence of Swami Swaroopananda on 22-23 Aug, 2025. Finishing the interiors so that the ashram is ready to welcome visitors will take more time and resources though. In order to accomplish this we need to raise $1 million dollars from our entire community. If you have benefitted from any of our Vedanta classes, learned from any of our videos, lost yourself in devotion at one of our gatherings or found comfort in being part of a greater spiritual family, then please support us so that we can do more for you, your family and the greater community.
