Swamini Sampannananda of Chinmaya Mission Malleswaram conducted a Gita Jnana Yajna in Kannada from 7 to13 December 2025 at Chinmaya Mission Vijayanagar, taking Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12. The Yajna was inaugurated by Shri Boriah, a senior member of the Mission.

Swamini Sampannananda described the Bhagavad Gita as a ready reckoner for solution to all problems in life besides providing several tips to remove sorrow and gain everlasting joy and peace. Just as a doctor prescribes different medicines to his patients, the Bhagavad Gita has innumerable paths to cater to sadhaks of various levels of evolution. What is important is to recognise one’s limitations and choose the path suitable to him or her. The best method for body-oriented sadhaks is to offer all actions to the Lord without expecting any returns by unconditionally surrendering to His manifest form. Or by meditating upon His unmanifest cosmic Reality for those evolved sadhaks who are able to control their senses and drop body identification. It is also important to transcend the dualities, accepting the fact that the mind is our best friend and can also be our worst enemy if we do not watch it with total awareness.

The Yajna was well attended on all the days.
