Completing its leg in Gujarat, Chinmaya Amrit Yatra reached Mumbai on 31 January 2026. The visit to Chinmaya Mission's residential Vedanta academy, Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, was an opportunity to connect with Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda, which made this hault truly special.

In a special reception at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya in Powai on 3 February, the Yatra was welcomed with a sacred procession carrying Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s Murti, Vastra and Padukas, creating an atmosphere of reverence and remembrance as it moved through the Ashram.

A vibrant flash mob added youthful energy, followed by the traditional Poornakumbha offered at Pujya Gurudev’s Pratima.

A reverential offering of archana and flowers by Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda was a heartfelt tribute to Pujya Gurudev’s life, teachings and enduring legacy.

The event was further enriched by devotional singing, inspiring addresses and a soulful bhajan dedicated by Swami Tejomayananda to Pujya Gurudev. An interactive session with the Yatris fostered shared reflections and joy. The programme concluded with Arati and Shanti Mantra, leaving all participants with a sense of inspiration, and renewed commitment to the Chinmaya vision.
