For the occasion of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Chinmaya Movement, Chinmaya Mission Kannur arranged two special offerings for devotees.

On 17 February, a grand Hanuman Chalisa Havan was conducted at Chinmaya Balabhavan, Kannur. Led by Swami Sharadananda of the Chinmaya International Foundation, the event featured 27 homa kundas and devotional chanting of the powerful Hanuman Chalisa.

The presence of Swami Swaroopananda, the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission, made the event truly memorable. The spiritual celebrations continued with a two-day Gita Panchamrit discourse held on 18–19 February at the Kannur Nayanar Academy.

In the enlightening talks, Swami Swaroopananda beautifully explained five select verses from the Bhagavad Gita, presenting their deep spiritual significance and practical relevance in modern life. He emphasised that the Bhagavad Gita is not merely a scripture to be read, but a manual to be lived.

The discourse inspired the devotees, students and members of the community who had gathered in large numbers. The programme served as a powerful reminder of the relevance of the Bhagavad Gita and strengthened the commitment of the attendees to live its teachings in their daily lives.

These sacred celebrations offered devotees a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in devotion through the Hanuman Chalisa Havan, reflect on the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and deepen their spiritual understanding.
