‘Bharati–Nari to Narayani’ National Conference

Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth's Prof. Sunitha Grandhee, Dean Student Affairs and Prof. Manjula R. Iyer, Deputy Dean Academics participated in the two-day National Conference titled 'Bharati–Nari to Narayani', held in New Delhi on 7 and 8 March 2026.

The Conference was jointly organised by the Bharatiya Vidvat Parishad (BVP) and the Rashtra Sevika Samiti. The Conference brought together eminent scholars, policymakers and thought leaders to deliberate on the evolving role of women in society from cultural, social and spiritual perspectives. The formal inauguration of the Conference was by Rekha Gupta, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi. The valedictory session was graced by the Hon’ble President of India, Draupadi Murmu, as the Chief Guest.

The Conference featured several panel discussions, keynote sessions and interactive dialogues focusing on themes such as women’s empowerment, leadership, cultural heritage, and the role of women in nation-building. Distinguished speakers from academia, governance and social organisations shared their insights and experiences, making the Conference a meaningful platform for knowledge exchange.

The participation of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth's faculty in such national forums reflects the University’s commitment to engaging with contemporary societal issues while drawing inspiration from India’s rich cultural and philosophical traditions.
