Chinmaya Mission Guwahati, in collaboration with Swastika Foundation and KGMT Multi-Speciality Hospital, organised a free dental health checkup camp at Gauri Shankar Mandir, Khanapara, Meghalaya on 19 July 2025. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Seema Rekha Devi with the support of a panel of dentists, surgeons and the nursing staff of KGMT. With the aim of addressing dental health concerns, the panel did oral examinations and offered free medication.The camp, co-ordinated by Smt. Sushila Poudel (President, Swastika Foundation), Sumi Roy (Secretary, Swastika Foundation) Smt. Anju Bhandari (President, Amma Samuha), Smt. Saraswati Sharma (Secretary, Amma Samuha), and members of Chinmaya Mission Guwahati, saw registrations from around 60 individuals.
Smt. Minakshi Mahanta, a senior member of Chinmaya Mission, shared insights about Chinmaya Mission and its activities. She elaborated on Gita and Vedanta classes, Bala Vihar, Devi Group, and Chinmaya Yuva Kendra activities, emphasising their value and impact on the community. Chinmaya Yuva Veer Neha Singh extended felicitations to the attending doctors and guests during the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Poudel appreciated the organising team for the noble initiative and emphasised the need to organise such health service programmes on a regular basis to benefit the local community.
