Chinmaya Mission Guwahati successfully conducted its five-day Rainbow Camp 2025, a summer camp for children held at its Six Mile premises. With over 65 enthusiastic participants, the camp revolved around the theme GOAT – Greatest of All Times, beginning with the topic ‘G’ for Guru, which included bhajans, action songs, and a unique Guru Paduka Yatra, where children walked barefoot with symbolic padukas on their heads while singing in reverence. The camp featured a variety of engaging activities such as Zumba, yoga, storytelling sessions on temple significance and animal avatars, Trataka for concentration, Transcendental Meditation, and life skills training. Creative sessions like art and craft, including peacock wall hangings and paper bouquets, as well as a fireless cooking food festival, showcased the children’s talents. A highlight of the camp was the Matri Pitri Puja, where children honored their parents through traditional worship, an event also covered by media channel NE Bharat. The camp concluded with a vibrant valedictory function, during which certificates and prizes were distributed. Brahmacharini Ananya Chaitanya addressed the gathering, highlighting the values and life skills the children imbibed through the camp. Thoughtfully organized with snacks, camp kits, and interactive learning, Rainbow Camp 2025 proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
