On 6 March 2026, the sacred Punahpratishtha (re-consecration) of Shri Mahalakshmi Devi was performed at Chinmaya Prerana in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, amidst vedic chanting, traditional rituals and deep devotion. 

The event marked the 16th anniversary of the temple, originally consecrated in 2009. With the august presence of Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda, the rituals were conducted in accordance with sacred traditions, and the Divine presence of Shri Mahalakshmi Devi was invoked. 

Hundreds of devotees participated, offering prayer and seeking the blessings of the Divine Mother. The installation of the deity served as a reminder for the devotees to incorporate the values of gratitude, harmony, prosperity and inner auspiciousness in daily life. 

The ceremony created a deeply devotional atmosphere at Chinmaya Prerana, strengthening the spiritual bond of the community.
