The Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated with great fervour on Sunday 1 March 2026 at the Srigiri Gaukshetram Event Hall, marked by a beautiful Hanuman Puja and soulful collective chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa.
The event was a collaborative effort of Chinmaya Mission Guntur, led by Brahmachari Pavitra Chaitanya, and Chinmaya Mission Nellore, guided by Brahmachari Harish Chaitanya. The celebration was further strengthened by the dedicated support of the Srigiri Temple chairperson, temple staff, volunteers and trustees.
The celebration commenced with a special puja performed by the children, invoking the blessings of Lord Hanuman. This was followed by an archana to Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and a collective chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa and Govinda Namaalu, filling the hall with devotion and vibrancy.
The soulful chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa and Govinda Namaalu by over 60 young spiritual seekers aged between 5 and 15 years remained a highlight of the Mahotsav. The event witnessed the participation of around 200 devotees whose collective devotion created a deeply uplifting atmosphere.
The celebrations concluded with the distribution of trophies to the young participants in recognition of their enthusiastic involvement, and mahaprasad for all attendees.
