Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), organised a residential Camp titled Overview of Mahabharata from 13 to 17 August 2025, facilitated by Swami Sivayogananda (Chinmaya Mission, Madurai), at Adi Sankara Nilayam in Kerala, the maternal birth-home of Shri Adi Sankaracharya. The Camp offered seekers a blessed opportunity to study the great epic, Mahabharata, that continues to guide humanity on the path of Dharma, courage and spirituality, in a sacred ambience while engaging with its timeless wisdom.
Over 60 participants from across India and overseas joined the Camp. The vast epic was presented in a way that was both clear and deeply relevant. Swami Sivayogananda revealed how the Mahabharata is not only a story of kingdoms and warriors, but also a reflection of the inner battles we all face in life.
The inaugural function was blessed by the encouraging words of Swami Sharadananda, and the Camp was further enriched by the satsang sessions by Brahmachari Ved Chaitanya, which added depth and clarity. The wisdom of the Mahabharata is infinite! The days were filled with study, satsang, reflection and quiet contemplation.
