Chinmaya Mission Madurai conducted Hanuman Chalisa Havan and Samashti Gita Chanting events on 22 February 2026. Organised at Yadava College, the event was inaugurated by Shri R.V.N. Kannan, Yadava College Secretary.

Held as a part of the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav, marking the 75th year of Chinmaya Movement, the event drew a large gathering of devotees, students and spiritual seekers.

The day’s proceedings began at 8:30 AM with a ceremonial Puja, followed by a powerful Hanuman Chalisa Havan. As the sacred fire was lit, the air resonated with the collective chanting of verses, seeking universal peace and individual well-being.

The venue transformed into a sea of harmony as the participants joined in a synchronised recitation of chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita.

Swami Sivayogananda of Chinmaya Mission Madurai's spiritual discourse, emphasising the relevance of ancient Vedic wisdom in today’s fast-paced world remained a key highlight.

The event concluded with Maha Prasad, as participants departed filled with reverence and the powerful energy of collective chanting, carrying with them a deep sense of community harmony.
