Workshop by Sw.Chidrupanandaji on Beyond Teaching

The Noida centre organised a day-long workshop, 5th in the series of ‘Beyond Teaching’ a program devised specially for teachers, jointly with Ahlcon International School on the 25th April. Sw. Chidrupanandaji, Acharya (Noida) and Director Chyk (NZ) conducted it single-handed at the school auditorium. Around 112 Teachers from 40 schools of Noida and Ghaziabad as well Dr. Ashok Pandey, Principal, Ahlcon International School who also inaugurated the programme, participated in it with full zest.

The topic of discussion was ‘Dynamic Living’. In the first session Swamiji, gave a general talk on what is Dynamic Living and spoke of its 7 tools – being Cheerful, Courageous, Friendly, Rational, Considerate, Expressive and Productive. While this was at the worldly level, post lunch he spoke on the subtle components of Dynamic Living wherein he discussed about Vision, Goal management, Will, Clarity and healthy Resolutions.

The general feedback of the participants was that it was ‘excellent, apt, there should be more such workshops’ and suggestion of topics. But the most amazing and practical feedback was that despite the strong tremors experienced due the devastating earthquake in Nepal, the participants re-assembled after the evacuation to continue the workshop.

Thus the session was all-round success kudos to the efforts by Chyks, Yukti Malik (Secretary) and Somya Mittal (Jt. Secretary) for co-ordinating with the schools and Yuthika Agarwal the Master of Ceremony. And in conclusion two more workshops by this Dynamic Acharya are confirmed to be held in near future.

Right from the morning a large number of people began flowing to the campus. The Sarvaiswarya Puja, the first of its kind held on the campus began at 9.00 a.m. with Swami Sharadananda officiating and heading it in the traditional manner. Hundreds of people participated in it on Swamiji’s guidance and instruction. Swamiji’s officiation of the ritual involved the active participation of all. As if to cap the event of Sarvaiswarya Puja, over 1000 people – including children and adults joined together in Chinmaya Tejas auditorium to chant the celestial song (Bhagawad Geeta) in unison. Imagine over 1000 people chanting Bhagawad Geeta together – the whole of 701 slokas.
