Bhagavata Saptah held in Shakti Peeth Mandir, Gurgaon

Chinmaya Gurudham, Gurgaon held Bhagwata Saptah in Shakti Peeth Mandir, Gurgaon from 18th to to 25th September, 2016. The  Sankalpa for holding the  Saptah was taken in February and the Mandir premises were booked on  23rd February, 2016. The actual work for the Saptah commenced beginning April this year.

The Executive Committee and all members of Chinmaya Gurudham were highly inspired and  worked very hard in a  real  Karma Yoga spirit under the guidance and directions  of Swami Durgeshananada Ji  to make this project a great success. Enthusiastic planning, marketing and printing of flyers, banners, posters and pocket cards was done  to spread the awareness of Chinmaya Mission  and  motivate the people to partake in Chinmaya activities from time to time.

Bhagavata Saptah

Swami Durgeshananda Ji’s discourses on Srimad Bhagwata were very illustrating, enlightening and soul fulfilling, delivered in a lucid, simple and yet comprehensive  manner, which indeed enchanted the audience. Daily we had an average   audience of more than 200 people who listened Swamiji’s discourses  with rapt attention and enjoyed thoroughly.  It was a great event and a wonderful  spiritual experience.
This was the first full-fledged  function in Gurgaon and had a deep impact  on the listeners and the Mandir Trustees.  Dedicated  endeavors were  made in a cooperative spirit to en rope various Mukhya Yajmaans, Yajmaans, Up Yajmaans, Prasad, Jal  and other Yajmaans for various services.

Bhagavata Saptah 2

With Lord’s Grace and the blessings of Poojya Gurudev and Poojya Guruji. the twin purpose of Bhagwata Saptah was well served – creating sufficient awareness of Chinmaya Mission in Gurgaon  and involving the devotees in Chinmaya activities.

Additionally the   function  also galvanized the Chinmaya members to function as an integrated and cohesive family.

Youth Empowerment Programme at Chinmaya Vibhooti, Pune

YEP 10 had the wonderful opportunity of getting our minds cleared of all our misconceptions on HinduDharma by Pujya Swamini Vimalananda ji.

Youth Empowerment

Swamini amma arrived on the 17th of September and started her sessions by questioning us if we were Hindus – by birth or by #belief or by practice. Further we were asked so many questions and Swamini amma explained to us in detail about the Hindu Dharma and how it has been misunderstood in many ways and been wrongly inculcated. The sessions made a great impact on the YEPsters and all their doubts, misconceptions and ignorance were cleared.

We will always remember these learnings and be proud of the richness of Hindu Dharma.
