The photograph of Dr Kshama Metre and Kusum taken on the occasion of the STATE Reception to the Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukerjee at the Retreat, Moshabra in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh on 5th June 2016. The Retreat is a magnificent home where the President stays amongst a beautiful natural setting of deodar trees.
In this reception eminent citizens of the State were invited to meet with the President. They include politicians, bureaucrats, academicians, artists, social workers, senior army and police officers and others who have made significant contribution to the State.
Dr Kshama Metre was invited for our work in CORD. There were about 75 such people accompanied by their spouses. Ms. Kusum Mahajan , a volunteer from CORD also accompanied Dr Kshama Metre for an hour long function of grandeur.
