Swamini Supriyananda’s visit to CM, Singapore

Our beloved Gurudev Pujya Swami Chinmayananda’smotto -“Maximum happiness to maximum people for maximum time” is what Singapore witnessed as a living breathing reality over one of the most memorable weekends of Swamini Supriyanandaji’s visit here in the Tropics!

From enlightening women about their true Divine potential in Her houseful talk, Goddess Diaries – to helping new and advanced Meditators sink deeply into present awareness with some soulful guided meditations through a morning dedicated to Mindfreeness – Swaminiji reached out to touch people of all walks in life, all on a quest for Truth albeit each adapting very different ways towards it.

Swamini Supriyanandaji had not a moment to spare as in between these two massive events organised by Chinmaya Seva Centre, Singapore – she spent all of Her time conducting in-house workshops for Shishu Vihaar – aged 0 to 4, held confidence building and self improvement sessions for our Junior Chyks and Chyks and also made time to conduct a very interesting workshop on “The Art of Story Telling” for Balavihar sevikas.

Fulfilling and adhering to Gurudev’s prophecy and advice from ages ago, Swaminiji truly swept very new and unfamiliar masses of crowds off their feet. We quote Gurudev here

“When the fundamentals forming the foundation are to be kept sacredly the same, the only adjustment that is possible for the EXPANSION OF A SCIENCE OF LIFE, is to discover a more liberal means of application, and to annotate the same in the language of the conflict and struggle available in that period. To a large extent, an Interpreter of a philosophy will have to dance to the rhythm of the inundations and the direction of the current of thought and life in His age.”

We at Chinmaya Seva Centre extend our heartfelt gratitude to Swamini Supriyananda for Her loving presence, timeless wisdom and unbridled enthusiasm – and cannot wait to have Her back amongst us again!
