The auspicious day of Ganesh Chathurthi commenced at 6 a.m with a beautiful pooja and abhisheka performed by Swami Sharadanandaji in the Jagadeeshwara temple at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya. Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji graced the occasion by taking part in the continuous chanting of ‘Ganapati Atharvasheersha’ and all devotees were blessed with beautiful darshan of Lord Ganesha.
This blessed day also marked the formal inauguration of the 16th Vedanta Course in Sarawasti Nilayam at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya. The programme was graced and presided by Pujya Guruji, Pujya Swami Brahmanandaji and the Resident Acharya of the Vedanta Course, Swami Bodhatmanandaji. Many other Swamins and Brahmacharins of Chinmaya Mission were also present. Other dignitaries also present on stage were Tara Amma, Trustee of Tara Cultural Trust and Shri Pratap Bhai, Trustee of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, who has generously sponsored the Course. The entire inaugural programme was telecast live for the entire Chinmaya Mission family to take part.
