We recently moved into our new facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Guruji named it ‘Chinmaya Haridwar’ after ‘Port’land, Oregon. Guruji said that a portal is a door and since ‘Hari’ is the door to realization ‘Chinmaya Haridwar’ would be apt.
We had a wonderful inauguration that we celebrated with great devotion and pomp for three days. We had the honor of Guruji performing the ‘Netronmelanam’ – opening the eyes of our murthi ‘Madhur Krishna’ and also giving us the opportunity of listening to ‘Madhurashtakam’ in His sweet voice.
We were all so fortunate to see Guruji at such close quarters, listen to His pravachan and enjoy his madhur singing. These pictures are only a sample of what went through one person. There are more in our facebook posted by our other chinmaya family members.
